Creative Thinking and Problem Solving
Course Overview
This training course provides you with practical techniques and creative tools to inspire creativity and make problem solving a productive and insightful process. Through this course we will look at solutions from a new angle by using a variety of these new approaches.
Who is it for?
Those who are required to find solutions to problems on a regular basis and would like the ability to be able to be more creative and logical when considering solutions.

Understanding how the brain works
The difference between vertical and lateral thinking
What is considered a problem?
Overcoming pre-conceptions
Improving performance through the use of analytical skills
Recognising obstacles to creativity
Using creative thinking tools: Brainstorming, Mind mapping (Tony Buzan) Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats
Using creative thinking for everyday problem solving
Practical sessions:
You will be given the opportunity to practice the skills, techniques and theory learnt throughout the day. With constructive feedback to develop your skills and increase your self awareness you will look at different problems as a team and use the different tools illustrated to find the right solution for you.
